However, the images of birds are pixelated and not clear. But other images r more clear so I'll use this in addition to my other security cameras. I Paired this with the solar powered source works great.

I love that I can check in on my home from my phone. It alerts me if there is movement in my room that I have it in. Its small enough to not be so noticeable. It has a wide spam of the room so nothing is hidden. Now I have to get more for the other rooms in my house.

If you plan on using only this brand for your security it might not be too bad of a deal even though like I said they're not very cheap. For the quality that you're getting there are other options and other brands that don't charge you $100 per year for service. Overall the quality is good, the boxing is very nice, it comes with all the tools you need to assemble and mount it, and you have the option to view online or on your cell phone. The only problem I have is quality of picture could be a little clearer, the Wi-Fi for me just wasn't staying connected and had lag, also I feel it's a little steep to have to pay $100 a year to use something that I own. I went with a competitor that has a wired DVR camera that comes with four cams DVR and free service no charge for roughly the same price as this one camera. If you are going to use only this brand $100 a year might not be too bad but it's not something I'm willing to pay.

Ring gives customers a complimentary 30-day trial with each new Ring device. After the 30-days, you can choose if you would like to purchase a Ring Protect Plan or not. A Ring Protect Plan is not necessary to view real time notifications on your Ring cameras. Without the Ring Protect Plan, you can still use the live view and two-way audio feature, you are still able to see who is at your door and answer motion notifications. In order to see past recorded videos from your ring device, you will need the optional Ring Protect Plan, which starts at $3/month per device or $30/year per device.
