I also love that they come in black now

Love ring for the most part

The major downfall is you have to pay for the monthly membership in order to keep your recordings. If you let the membership run out you will lose ALL of your saved videos, so if you’re looking for a camera that is just ready to go this may not be the one for you.

Without this service, you will still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone and have access to the live view feature.

Best Security Cameras ever created

So much for creating these cameras. I’ve been able to catch robbers from robbing all the things in our neigborhood and send footage to the authorities The solar panel function is amazing. Despite my stupid apartment neighbor was dumb. Lol Then I moved to my house and bought two more stick up cameras with solar panels. I love I have every square foot coverer. Totally recommend.

The subscription is at an affordable price. Reviewing videos or going live is user friendly. Cons: if your unit is in a high traffic area, you'll get alot of alerts, this will drain the battery out quick. You dont get 24 hour recording, instead it is motion activated.

Based on your review, it seems that you are not fully satisfied with your Ring Stickup Camera. The Stick Up Cam uses infrared motion capturing to detect motion, within its field of view. You can use the Ring app to determine the Stick Up Cam’s motion detection range and the specific zones where motion will trigger a smart alert. These settings help ensure that the Stick Up Cam will capture the events you want to see and ignore the ones you don’t. Has been nice to know that packages have arrived, even when I am away. Did not realize it would require a minimal subscription to see video after motion is detected and live video has ended. Considering getting a solar battery charger, although battery life has been good thus far. Overall, relatively happy with the product so far.
