Great little camera for peace of mind

Very customizable and easy to change depending on needs. I love that it links to my other ring camera and both record if motion is detected by either one. Works very well and has given me extra peace of mind by letting me keep an eye on things when I'm not physically there.

It works great. Picture is very clear and you can adjust to get whatever angle you need. It sends an alert when it sees someone and you can converse back and forth from the camera. All that is great. My issue is you can only see live pictures unless you pay for a subscription. Seems like you should be able to store at least some pictures or video.

It sounds like you are concerned with the need for the Ring Home Plan subscription. The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
With a Ring Home Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

Keeping me Safe

I receive alerts every time someone comes onto my property. My neighborhood is considered safe but it never hurts to be even more secure.

When I add my first camera to my WiFi I didn’t notice any problems with speed but when I brought my second camera and set it up my internet speed slowed down, btw I have 3 TVs &cell phones and a gamer all on WiFi..

We house five cats sheltered in our back yard. I have had this for a year and it has never failed us. The video is of excellent quality. I purchased an extra battery so there is never any downtime.

The quality with picture and other features work better that you'd expect. The only negative thing I'd say is the i wish I had a little more motion to adjust the camera once mounted.

I was so impressed with the doorbell that I came back for the Ring Stick Up camera. This was very easy to install. Once the battery was fully charged it only took about 10 minutes to install and mount. Also - the picture quality is AWESOME!

Cool outdoor security cam.

Wireless is nice and battery life is excellent. I have this over the front door pointing down at the porch so I can see packages on the doorstep, and use it in concert with a peephole doorbell cam.

Also this camera will not be able to detect a motion through window glass or screen door. For the price, there are more cheaper compared to this but not sure about the quality.

Ring gives customers a complimentary 30-day trial with each new Ring device. After the 30-days, you can choose if you would like to purchase a Ring Protect Plan or not. A Ring Protect Plan is not necessary to view real time notifications on your Ring cameras. Without the Ring Protect Plan, you can still use the live view and two-way audio feature, you are still able to see who is at your door and answer motion notifications. In order to see past recorded videos from your ring device, you will need the optional Ring Protect Plan, which starts at $3/month per device or $30/year per device.
