I bought it with a solar panel to keep the battery charged. So far I haven’t connected the solar panel, so can’t say how it works.

The images are crystal clear and the clarity at dusk is very good. The motion activation works very well. I purchased two cameras and am considering more!

I use several around the house and get instant notifications when motion or sound is detected. And the neighborhood hood feature is great and keeps you in the loop when stuff happens in and around your neighborhood.

If you already have a Ring setup is easy and pretty straight forward. Has options to sound an alarm and speak and hear.

It went up easily and seems securely mounted on the wall outside. I was surprised by the good picture quality for a small camera like this one.

The battery holds a charge for a long time so you do not need to constantly pull out to charge. An additional battery is however more ideal to swap out.
