Awesome LIttle Camera for inside the House

They are easy to install and work well with my wifi router. Sometimes you have to work at getting notifications straightened out but overall a good performer.

However I have a problem with the fact that you can not adjust the alarm area vertically. The program will only show a horizontally display on your cell phone when you try to adjust the distance away from your Ring Stick up. You can adjust a lot in width, not in depth. Also, if you have a light that is turned on or timed on and if it is in line with the important coverage area it will block out what you are monitoring. The area is only secure if you do not have lights facing your Ring Stick up. During the day the same area is protected well.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. Directly illuminating the camera can wash out the image and reduce its ability to see in low light or at night, while also potentially reducing the night vision effectiveness of the camera. If you are experiencing poor video quality, such as overexposed video or washed out video, please adjust the angle of your camera away from the direct light.

Used my Best Buy warranty and replaced it with this camera, just a different color. Works great and no issues with my wifi network connecting to it.
