The features and technology provided by the Ring Outdoor Cam (Formerly known as the Ring Stick Up Cam) are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. The Ring Outdoor cam is an outdoor camera with features like Color Night Vision and Advanced Motion Detection with Customizable Motion Zones. With the two-way talk and 1080p HD video you are able to see and communicate with someone on the other end of the camera from anywhere on your phone. The Ring Outdoor Cam requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection in order to set up and function properly. If your router does not currently broadcast a 2.4GHz network, we recommend enabling the 2.4GHz band in your router settings or contacting your internet service provider for assistance
