Camera picture quality is good. But motion capture lags some times. One have to take monthly subscription to record the live footage.

Easy to use, clear view and added to my door ring app

I originally purchased a Blink outdoor camera and after setting it up, it was not what I expected. I returned it and purchased the Ring camera (after researching it's capabilities). This battery operated camera worked exactly how I anticipated. I have the camera set up at least 40 miles from my residence and with it's wifi capability, I can monitor any intrusion. I actually purchased the Ring Spotlight camera as well and love it!

The camera has good clarity. The sound pick-up is also quite good. I get good resolution views on my iPhone from the images. It does pick up some motion that records that it probably shouldn't such as a big truck passing out on the street some fifty feet away. It does well on catching people coming and going up the driveway. I haven't noticed any images of the neighbor cats; that's good! Time will tell about how well the plastic housing will handle the intense summer heat.

I have this mounted in the middle under my patio eave. It catches my entire back yard and outside my back gate. Very accurate. I enjoy the alarm feature to scare off any suspicious activity. I can also check on my kids playing in the yard, and the intercom is clear, speaking back and forth. Easy to check on my dog when away too. The battery life isn't too bad. It comes with a charger. Love the wireless feature!!! Will be purchasing more to cover my entire yard. I have the ring alarm and flood light camera as well. All easy to use and works well together, under one application.

I upgraded after having the fiest generation cam for 5 years. The quality of the video is excellent. I did have an issue with the battery running down quickly, but after some research, I learned that when it has a soalr panel connected, you have to make sure that it's set ro battery, or else it will run as if it is connected to electricity and run down quickly.

Great camera nv and motion detection is nice . Installed outside. And great wide view
