Your Ring Stick Up Cam will be happy just about anywhere, indoors or out. It can sit on its own stand, or mount to a wall or ceiling. If the view from your Stick Up Cam or Stick Up Cam Pro is upside-down, inverted or rotated, your camera is most likely not in its ideal mounted position.

Little things learning as we go along installing them around the house is that maybe attaching them to the walls in high spots is not the best idea because when the battery starts to die down it's a hassle to change out batteries. I currently live in a very old house and there aren't many available outlets to have everything running on power that's why I elected to get the battery operated cams.

Was able to catch someone trying to come through my back door. Who knows what would’ve happened if this camera didn’t catch them and notify me of movement.
