Irvine Detective said buglars are now using jammers. 2) need a DC jack for plugging in external batteries for extending operational time I returned mine primarily for #1. Other than that its a good camera, easy setup and good app.

Local storage is available on specific devices via Ring Edge, a feature that requires the Ring Alarm Pro and Ring Protect Pro plan. We have more information here https://ring.com/support/articles/t6xbc/Store-and-Process-Videos-Locally-with-Ring-Edge-and-Ring-Alarm-Pro.
