I was debating between nest and ring, but ring was the only one that provided the rechargeable battery option. It’s in a hallway to keep an eye on the dogs and basement door. My only complaint is that I wish it had a little more flexibility in terms of positioning. It’s high up on a wall and sideways in order to capture the entire hallway.

However, they are only 1 month old. The clarity is great, positioning is very simple and distance is really good. I am very pleased with this purchase and hope that in two years I still feel the same way.

Quality goods. Difficult to setup

This was not so easy. The instructions give you no guidelines on how to add or setup with solar panel. Graphics is n but x is different then unit in box. Made setup difficult and had to reset several time in order to get to work. Once it FINALLY. took setup it has worked great.

It tells me movement in my yard and it also has neighbor alerts within 3 miles to tell of crimes happening and captured by other ring cameras I would highly recommend this
