So I can see if some brakes in it will start video and get pictures. I think it is better than just a Motion Sencer .

I had it set up on a windowsill looking at the front porch. Im sure it's great if you are using it either 100% indoors or in the house.

The features and technology provided by the Ring Outdoor Cam are incredibly valuable and help provide you with peace of mind about your home security. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
For optimal performance, it is not recommended to aim your Ring device directly at a window. The glass can negatively affect the camera's ability to accurately detect motion. Repositioning the camera to a location that avoids facing a window should reduce any issues with motion detection.

We have it to we can see the loving room and kitchen. It is good, but sometimes they can't really hear me when I'm trying to get their attention through the speaker. Other than that we like it.

It has good quality recordings and good range. It is a bit expensive but the quality makes sense for the price.
