Ring wireless cameras are very easy to install/set up. They connect seamlessly with Alexa. I bought two of these while they were on sale. This particular camera is an outstanding operator no matter where you put it. Unless you have mounted it, it is totally portable, which allows moving it around to any spot you might need it at any given time.

Picture is clear and movement detection can be adjusted so it doesn't pick up a road or street in front.

The picture quality and setup is very easy. Setting up the ring was very easy and adding the ring stickup to an existing ring product such as the ring doorbell was also easy to add to my smart telephone.

Blink cameras work well with out the monthly service fee. I use both and I think I will stick with the Blink cameras. I do like how easy this is to move around the house and to face outside. It supplements my blink network

The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. With a Ring Home Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

This camera works both indoors and outdoors very well in my experience, but with most rings, I notice occasional disconnects which I think is mostly my wifi fault because cox internet service isnt the best.

Having a solid connection ensures you do not miss any activity around your home. We are here today to provide you with education to assist you in finding the best solution for your home’s environment.
It sounds like you experienced some connection issues with the device. Usually, devices falling offline repeatedly is related to poor wifi connectivity caused by signal fluctuations, channel congestion, or data loss.
To determine whether or not the problem is caused by poor upload speed, run a speed test to determine if your network can support Ring devices. In edition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device. Ring devices with 1080p video require at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance.
A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
If your networking equipment hasn’t been power cycled in a while, try unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Wireless networks utilize different channels for communication. In the United States, the 2.4 GHz band uses channels 1-11 and the 5 GHz band uses channels 36-165. In some cases, setting up your Ring device(s) can fail due to wireless interference or congestion.
We also recommend adding a Ring Chime Pro to your network. The Ring Chime Pro simply plugs into a wall outlet between your router and the Ring Ring Outdoor Cam to assist with the wifi signal strength to the device.

Easy to set up, and can be used in multiple locations if you don’t mount it. I use it for my back yard or turn it to monitor the inside of my home to keep an eye on my dog if I’m away for a while. Battery stays charged for about 30 days with average use.

I would recommend these cameras to my family members and friends. I also purchased the Solar panels to use with my outdoor cameras. Camera batteries are always charged and never have to be replaced!

My husband and I love the app interface and the convenience of everything. We are able to keep an eye on our home even when we are not there, and even have a camera to see our dogs and what they are up to throughout the day, which is probably my favorite part. So far the battery life has been impressive, and we love that they are so slim and light weight, so we can move them around the house as needed. The app is great and I like that both my husband and I can have full access to everything, not just one account we have to share. Will for sure buy more of these to add to our account in the future.

You set the settings for how you want to monitor your loved ones and then you watch it on your phone and you can download the videos to look back and do the activity and moreover, any activity and you’re not there. You get notifications on your phone. And the price is nice thank you Ring!!!

The ring system cameras are an excellent addition to an existing security system or can be use standalone. Cameras are excellent quality and notify you of any kind of movement around your perimeter that you set.

These provide a great piece of mind home and away from our home. The ring app is also easy to use and connects with our cameras very quickly. I also like the size of the cameras and the option to hang if I want to.

I have it linked to my act with my doorbell cam. It has pretty good picture and is easy to mount outside. In three weeks the battery has went down to 90%, so still unsure how often it will need to be charged.
