      It sounds like your Ring Stick Up Cam is not performing as expected. Ring Stick Up Cam has a versatile wire-free design that's designed to be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall.

      We would love the opportunity to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can try to get your Ring Stick Up Cam functioning as intended. We recommend checking the following things:

      Ensure your camera’s battery is 100% charged prior to installing it.
      Charge the battery for five to 10 minutes, then reinsert it. (You may need to try a different power outlet or micro-USB charging cable if there are no charging lights lighting up on the battery).
      If the camera is still not powering on, hold the setup button for 20 seconds.
      Follow the steps in the Ring app to reconnect the camera to your network. To reconnect a Ring Stick Up Cam to your wifi network: Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (≡). Tap Devices and select the camera you'd like to reconnect to wifi. Tap the Device Health tile. Under Network, tap Change Network and follow the prompts in the app. Allow some time for your device to fully reconnect to the network, then check your wifi signal strength in Device Health to confirm it has successfully reconnected.

    I will never buy electronic things in best buy

    It was not the one i wanted. When i try to return this to Best Buy apparently they have 15 days policy no return. It's hard return things specially when you have 4 kids and no babysisters because it's expensive. So i have something that i will never use or need.

    My house was burglarized the day after these were setup. The intruder managed to enter the room. Locate the camera pointed directly at them. Physically Turn it away and steal the laptop and credit cards in the drawers beneath. And then proceeded to rob me blind. Only logical explanation is that RING security software has been hacked. The camera recorded me leaving that room an hour earlier. No intruder though. Hmmmm?! The day after I setup account online with RING?! Sounds phishy!

    Can't seem to get it to work consistently. Battery wears down very quickly. Keep having to reset to wifi. Delayed notifications when it does work.

      It sounds like you have some concerns with the features of your Ring Stick Up Cam. The Ring Stick Up Cam offers 1080p HD video. If you are experiencing poor video quality or delayed connectivity, this may be due to a poor wifi connection. Signal strength is just as important as speed when it comes to transmitting a video image from your Ring device to your Ring app. To check the strength of your wifi signal, do the following:

      Open your Ring app.
      Tap on the three lines on the top left of the screen.
      Select Devices.
      Tap on the Ring device you would like to test.
      Tap on the Device Health tile.
      On the Device Health screen, look at your signal strength under the Network section.
      If your signal is poor or very poor, this can be caused by the distance between the router and your Ring device, the layout of your home, or interference caused by other devices (TV's, game systems, etc.) or materials in your home such as stucco, brick, metal, large mirrors, or glass doors.

    Bought this camera to use when I travel on vacation overseas. Tried it in Italy in 2 Resorts. Didn’t connect to their wifi. Returning

    Battery does not last that long.. constantly takinh it out to recharge it, skips on recording.. not as great as the wired one..

The Ring Stick Up Cam Battery is designed to be a DIY home security solution that can be trusted to provide you with lasting service. While Ring batteries can go months between recharges with normal use, this is dependent on a number of factors in your home's environment.

      Battery life is heavily dependent on frequency of use, therefore, please consider the following. If you have located your device in a high traffic area, please ensure the motion settings accurately reflect your needs. For example, you could reduce the size of the motion zone to pick unnecessary movement and thus save battery life. If your needs require maximum performance, consider using a Ring Solar or Super Solar Panel. These can help trickle charge the battery and extend the time between manual recharges.

      Additionally, the battery life may be affected by poor signal strength. If you've noticed wifi issues, such as poor video quality or trouble connecting to live video, a wifi extender such as the Ring Chime Pro may improve the signal getting to your camera. A cost-effective alternative would be to relocate your router (or camera) in an area that has less interference, even a couple feet can make a big difference.

    I bought this to find out what was nesting in my attic. The camera doesn't react fast enough to capture the critter. It may work for other applications, but not mine.

    Cart before the horse and still nothing

    4 times they have called me to set up the installation! And then on the 5th call the call me to set up the delivery. Does that make sense? No! How are you gonna keep on rescheduling my installation and your never call to set up the delivery of the items. Stuff has still been getting stolen and they never want to make me happy. Disappointed
