In pursuit of our mission to make neighborhoods safer, when applying technologies to our business, we always consider our three pillars of customer security, privacy, and user control. We understand how important it is to have your devices working as intended, as it offers a level of security in your home. After reading your review, it seems that your Ring Stickup Camera is having trouble staying connected to your home wifi. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest-working devices in your house, for optimal performance, you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below: Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off). If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them. Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in. Wait for your internet to be restored. Based on your review, it seems that you are not fully satisfied with your Ring Stickup Camera. The Stick Up Cam uses infrared motion capturing to detect motion, within its field of view. You can use the Ring app to determine the Stick Up Cam’s motion detection range and the specific zones where motion will trigger a smart alert. These settings help ensure that the Stick Up Cam will capture the events you want to see and ignore the ones you don’t. It is a valuable feature that is designed to notify you as to who may be near your home. Please know that it is a priority for us to be of assistance and find a resolution to your concern.
After reading your review it seems that your Ring Stickup Camera is not picking up the correct motion. When this occurs, we recommend adjusting your motion settings. For more information on adjusting your motion settings to better fit your needs please see our help center article titled: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213106363-How-to-Set-Up-Motion-Detection-for-Your-Stick-Up-Cam. Please pay close attention to the Motion Frequency setting and consider adjusting this to frequent within the Ring App. Frequent gives you the most motion alerts and ensures you don’t miss any activity.

Based on your review, it seems that you are not fully satisfied with your Ring Stickup Camera. If your device is not working as intended we recommend resetting your device. To reset your Stickup Camera press and hold the setup button for 10-15 seconds and release. Once the white light on the the device stops blinking proceed with the setup process. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us by leaving a review. We are constantly pushing ourselves to develop products to empower users with an affordable, effective way to monitor and secure their home. We will ensure your feedback is passed along to the proper internal contacts.
At this time, we do not have the option for 24/7 recording but do have the option for on demand live view. Using the live view feature, your Ring device will record up to 10 minutes of video. We also offer Snapshot Capture which works by taking still frame photos at selected time intervals and uploading them to the Ring cloud. You can then view these snapshots on your Event Timeline, just like you do for events. Snapshots will be stored in the cloud for seven days. After that they are automatically deleted. This will not affect any of your motion events or Live Views. We understand the importance of having a solid charge on your Ring Stick Up Camera in order to have a longer charge time between charge cycles. We would be happy to provide you with more insight into what's causing the need for frequent recharges. 

Ring devices' batteries are designed to last months between charges under normal conditions. However, real battery life is dependent on a number of factors, such as local weather, the number of events captured, and the frequency of activation.
