Worthless without Premium subscription

Canary will remove critical features such as 24 hour clip recording which makes the device worthless without their premium service. A device that only tells you there is motion without recording a clip has zero value. When I purchased the device you would receive. Preview of the motion and a 10-30 second clip that showed the cause and it would be stored for 24 hours. Now, all you receive is a notification that there was some sort of movement with no preview, no recording.

Posted .Hi Bryan, I'd be happy to clarify what you can expect with or without a Ring Protect plan. Without an active Ring Protect subscription, your Ring Stick Up Cam will still detect and notify you of motion. You can also access the Live View via the Ring app to see what's going on. To activate video recording, you need to have an active Ring Protect subscription.
