It also holds up well outside. It would be easier to use with electrical outlet so the battery doesn't have to be recharged every 2-3 weeks.

You have to remove battery from camera to charge or have Xtra battery to continue to record or view video over all I love it

For optimal performance, it is not recommended to aim your Ring Outdoor Cam (Formerly known as the Ring Stick Up Cam) directly at a window. The glass can negatively affect the camera's ability to accurately detect motion. Repositioning the camera to a location that avoids facing a window should help to improve motion detection.
