It reaches a wide view. The Ring app has made a lot of improvements since I purchased this in February 2020 which makes these cameras more useful. Live view playback on the app is good quality even in the dark. Make use of the schedule and customization features so that you don't get an overwhelming amount of notifications for every movement and to save battery life. Simple set up instructions.

We had been placing food for him on the porch and he would come to eat between 2 am and 5 am. We knew this from a trailcam. To obtain videos and higher quality pictures, we purchased the Ring stick-up wireless camera. The performance of this device is outstanding. There are very clear videos recorded with the motion detector. We are also pleased with the long lasting battery life.

I also have Ring doorbell Pro smart wi-fi and both are great especially the signal or on the time capture. I both got them on 40% sale what a good deal at Best Buy.
