If your looking for a security camera/system and you don’t want to wire your home, this is the route to go. These cameras do a great job keeping your home monitor. It gives you 24/7 access to see what is going on. The one thing you have to make sure is to have good Internet because if you don’t, then that’s when the camera would act like if it’s failing but it’s not the camera itself it’s the Internet connection. The other thing you have to keep in mind is that you need to pay a fee of $3/month per camera or you could pay $100 a year for all the cameras you install.

Helps with peace of mind in an outdoor setting. Being able to see what's going on outside in front of the house while not being home is satisfying. Paying for an annual ring protection plans come with the ability to a large number of cameras; without any additional costs except for cam. Hook it up to a ring solar power and no additional electrical costs. Good product if your in the amazon/ring ecosystem.

My maintenance man installed inside a patio window, as I requested in an attempt to avoid the dust outside; however, at night it would only display the reflection of the window. He moved it outside, and it has a better angle, and an amazing brightness of objects and movement with zero light sources after dark. So yes, highly recommend this camera, especially in areas that are dark after sundown. I've been very pleased!
