Got this camera to put in the barn so we could monitor our pregnant donkey. It was SO easy to install and it works beautifully! We did not want to have to deal with wiring, so the battery camera was the better option. You can monitor it using your phone, check on the battery life (it lasts for almost a week) and taking out the battery is so easy. The view at night is crystal clear. We are thrilled with this purchase. Highly recommended.

So far great product, set very easy. Wi-Fi connect very quick, excellent product. I have arlo too so gonna compared technology. So far it’s a tie. Ring stand alone priced right, 40 bucks, arlo 100+ for camera. Ring picture quality way better than arlo, I’m testing battery life, look like arlo gonna be winner, because ring cameras record all the time, unless you stop motion. Arlo only records movements.

Camera is super simple to install and set up and use with the app. The night vision works very well and has a good sight distance. I have the solar panel powering it so i cant say how the battery life is unfortunately. My only qualm with it is the bright blue light that powers on when it's recording. It's so bright that if you had it in a carport for example, it would light the whole place up in blue.

Good and lasting battery, clear and crisp video and motion sensitivity is excellent.

As of rigth now this has been such a great investment not only can i adjust the notification areas but i can also adjust the tone of day i want notifications. It was super simple to set up and the battery is barely at 90% even after 2 weeks.

The Ring Stick UP wire free security camera was purchased for an outside location. The feature I needed was a camera without lights to install near a neighbor's window. The setup and installation was easy and straight forward. After several months of charging the battery, I added a separate power line. After a full year, the camera continues to work outdoors on a fence without a roof flawlessly. In other outdoor locations, I prefer a wired camera with better optics

I bought this for myself for my back yard to watch my younger kids play in the back yard and keep an eye on them. Install was super easy and installed before a thunderstorm, it passed weatherproof with flying color. Connecting to the app was supet easy and no issues so far. Also used the solar panel with it too so didn't need to worry about charging batteries or an outlet near by. Gave me the freedom to put wherever my wifi signal could reach

Great camera, easy setup. Battery or corded, works fantastically. However, after a power surge, I was not able to reconnect remotely. Connected back once I was on same wifi.

Decent camera. Good video quality. The sound quality both with the speaker and mic were not great. The battery life seemed okay, but I had bought a solar panel to keep it charged so I didn’t have to get on a ladder to change batteries every few months like I do with my Ring Doorbell 2. Unfortunately, the solar panel doesn’t work. So I returned the camera along with the solar panel.

We love all of our Rings! Pictures are very clear and even at night the details are still very clear. Very easy to put up!

Easily set up. Pictures clear with access nearly anywhere. Recording feature great to look back on events at a very affordable price.

Easy to install, great picture, and aesthetically nice. The longest part of the install is charging the battery initially. The more times the camera records events, the quicker the battery runs low and will have to recharge overnight. We installed beginning of December and had to recharge the battery right before Christmas. I need to change the “events” settings to not record during certain times to help reduce the battery usage.

I love these little guys. They’re perfect for DIY home monitoring, and with the new price point, they’re simply too good to pass up. Crystal clear picture quality, even at night. Only caveat is that the Ring app will often load long after motion has been detected. To the point where when you finally got to your live feed, whatever set off the motion sensor can already be gone from view. That’s no good if you don’t have a Ring plan and all of your recorded interactions are saved. Only costs $3.00/mnth per device.

When comparing this camera to other low budget cameras, it does well. Pros: - Inexpensive - Can be used with both battery and power cord - Works with Amazon Key - Easy to install - Decent, but SLOW app - Ring Protect plan is inexpensive Cons: - If you lose internet, all footage is lost. There doesn't appear to be a cache to store footage until your internet connection returns - Supports 2.4 GHz WiFi only - Doesn't support WPA3 - No PoE - Ring support isn't as good as it used to be - Ring app is often slow when attempting to view live video - No HomeKit support

Great product. Battery life is phenomenal. Video quality is good. For the price it was a great buy.

Great System all the way around! I have had 3 different Security systems and after Purchasing the Ring System a Year ago we have decided there is no other system that Tops Ring in Price, Service, Quality, Options and the Customer Service by and from both Best Buy and Ring has been Excellent in everyway! We have had the Ring doorbell for some time now, but with the way our entry it positioned, we cannot see the driveway or people as they are approaching. We decided to add to it with the indoor/outdoor camera. The quality is great and it was easy to set-up and add to our current system. The app is very easy to use and sends notifications when it detects movement. With having kids, I love having the cameras to see what is going on around our house when we are home or away.

Bought this ring camera for my living room for when I’m not home. I like how it’s in sync with my other ring camera in my front porch, so that light will also turn on at night in case of other movement out there. You also get updates from other ring users around your neighborhood in the app.
