I bought 2 of these on sale bc my Wife and I decided we would like to have some peace of mind either while we sleep or when we are gone. Mine are all hard wired in, no battery usage unless power goes out so I can not comment on that portion of the camera. But the camera itself has great quality; as in video and audio. One of the 2 is out of the weather, while the other is in the corner of our carport so it is exposed to the weather and have had no issues with it, nor shows any sign that rain will shorten its life span. I think it will last several years and sure makes my Wife feel safe! We have alerts go to our phones as well as to Amazon devices throughout the house. One feature it is lacking is “Geo-fencing” I wish it had to change modes automatically instead of having to physically open the app and change it. Maybe they can add this feature with an update. But for that reason I’m only doing 3 stars. That is the only downfall so if it doesn’t matter to you then this is a 5 Star product.

Overall a really great camera! Sometimes battery is quite short lasting depending on how often it gets triggered. Clear shots at night and during the day, feels much better being able to see what’s going on outside. Only small con is the batter can be annoying to charge and the solar panel absolutely does not work.

Excellent camera! Clear images day and night. Mounted on a tree in our yard. Got the solar panel to go with it, so we don't ever have to change the batteries. Highly recommend. Ring offers outstanding customer support.

This is a great little camera. Setup was fairly easy and the quality it top notch. It does not work with HomeKit for Apple unless you are willing to do a little extra. I am planning to add more of these as needed and would recommend to family members.

I was having problems with suspected porch pirates. Because of the location of the doorbell, and the fact I'm in a rental, I could not install a regular Ring doorbell camera. This unit is very easy to install and setup. Customer service was awesome on the few questions I had. Together with a corner mounting bracket from Amazon, I was able to get the perfect view of my mailbox and front porch. Don't try to mount inside a window looking out -the reflection in the window glass will mess with the motion sensor and picture quality.

Easy set up. Adjustable. Just the right amount of security needed. Clear video. Easily speak to those waiting on other side of door

Security Camera works well, after a little adjusting you can set up just what you want. If you want to hang from overhang, buy the optional mount to make it easy. I also suggest a spare battery or the solar option so it can be ready constantly.

The picture quality on this u it is really ear and i love how easy it was to set up. I am really impressed with how easy it was to set up and with a of the ko features that it has.

My first Ring camera and working good so far. Captures some unexpected events (tree branches moving, etc.), but good otherwise. Battery life appears to be good. Looks like will last around 3-4 months for my usage.

I've bought several of these cameras, they're very reliable, good quality of video and battery, shockingly, lasts a long time. Depending on how much traffic, the battery can last 35-45 days!

High quality, the image is clear, easy to install the battery. And could install it in your car as long your internet range reach.

Easy to install. I got this to keep an eye on my 13 year old weiner dog while I'm at work, because he's been having seizures. I just recently had to charge the battery. The pictures/videos are clear in both day and night or when the lights are off.

Installed this @ our rental and picture quality and easy to set up/install. Battery life so far is good, with over a month on one charge, battery status is near full. Would recommend as an alternative to a wired camera.

I really do like this product.I enjoy the features and the reliability.The camera has great for viewing. I can see anyone who comes on my property or in the vicinity.Security is very important to me and my family.

Quality camera with good picture quality. Ring has a pretty good set up for their ecosystem. Easy to mount and set up this camera. Runs on a rechargeable battery so very easy to swap out when needing a fresh battery or recharge

Got is for my daughters apartment. Because it’s battery operated we can put it anywhere. Very nice video quality. Battery life is 30 days plus. Must pay for subscription to have videos stored. But we’ll worth the added security.

Love Ring cameras. Clear picture and great quality. Only negative I would say is the $49.99/year they charge per camera to record videos. Must be something new that I missed because always thought it was $100/year for multiple cameras. This being my third set up around the house.

The set up is so simple and easy. Adding it to other cameras on the app was easy. Having it battery instead of wired allowed me to put it in several spots until I found the exact place I wanted.
