They are so useful when you have sides of the house you want to be able to see without having to walk around the house at night. The privacy setting for neighbors is pretty awesome as well. We got 4 of them when they were around $50 a camera. It was a steal.

They had their issues and the older generations has issues. The new generation. Like the one I bought work very good for what they are. I also don't have very strong wifi so it's already being worked to find wifi. I use mine outside and it works quite well. It can record up to 120 seconds. Which I find most of the time is too much but it gives a bumper for incidents or whatever is being recorded. Along with not having strong wifi. Motion alerts are instant. You are always home.
