If mounted from the ceiling there is no way to turn the picture on the app. I would buy this again. It is nice knowing what is going on when you can not be there.

I also have Ring doorbell Pro smart wi-fi and both are great especially the signal or on the time capture. I both got them on 40% sale what a good deal at Best Buy.

We are pleased to read that you are enjoying your new Ring Stick Up Wire Free Cam and that the features included are meeting your expectations. This camera uses Adjustable Motion Detection and runs using passive infrared sensors. The system identifies visitors via a moving heat signature and sends a notification to your smart device when one is detected. It's great reading the camera is picking up all activity near your home, including animal activity.
