To be expected, I suppose. I have another Wi-Fi cam that I like a little better than this one but good overall. The other camera I have doesn’t require a cloud purchase to record using motion but this does (a slight negative).

Wired Ring stick up camera

The Ring forums were not help since others have the same issue. Bought this version and ordered a power cord, works like a charm and no wifi drop.

It works good, i still have some things I have to figure out on it. It is up and it works. Let's me know when someone is around. I plan to get another one for outside. The weather does not bother it. I do think it would be good to get separate battery to change out when time to charge battery.
