Maybe because of sensitivity but bought a extra battery and l adjusted camera and has been good since. Been thinking of purchasing a solar power for it so I won't have to worry as much about changing battery..

Don't plan on using outside.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cam can't detect motion through a window and the second I walk outside to mount it on the wall right on the other side of where my router and ring home station is the camera can't connect ( like literally the second I close front door the camera loses connection to the router that is 5 feet away). Bought it to watch front door, but it can't detect motion inside and can't connect outside. You all need to figure out how to improve your wireless hardware in your devices. And no, nothing wrong with my network, my router does not need to be reset, etc, etc for whatever you all would try to say is wrong other than admitting your device is faulty.

Based on your review, it seems like you are unable to use your Ring Stickup Camera behind a window. Windows generally block heat sources, which means when the Ring device uses PIR (Passive Infrared) to detect motion, the Ring device will not be able to detect the motion through a window. There are a couple of scenarios when this can happen:
During the day, your powered Ring device uses Advanced Motion Detection, which is when the camera looks for changes physically in the environment. The Ring device should be able to see through a window during the day.
At night, your powered Ring device still uses Advanced Motion Detection but also uses Passive Infrared (PIR) to verify the motion. Since windows block heat sources, your Ring device will not be able to accurately view or record through a window at night.
