I’m using it as an external camera and is performing extremely well. I had an older model ring get this one replaced and it’s 10 times better. The clarity is incredible. I had scary decorations up for Halloween and the camera caught all of my victims clearly!

Awesome camera and software is really easy to use. It has a mic and camera so sometime i like to mess with my wife when ralking thriugh it while im at work lol ^-^

We have a number of wireless floodlight cams around the property. This is our first outdoor wired stickup cam. Install was as easy as with all other ring products we have. Image quality is excellent. Router connection is solid. No issues. Highly recommended.

Overall good performance. Video quality is satisfactory but lag time to establish a live connection is annoying. The activity notification feature is useful if you want to remotely monitor property. But you will need to subscribe to the Ring cloud service to be able to see activity after a notification. Price is high compared to numerous camera alternatives.

Great camera, I use it in window looking outside, there’s a feature to turn off the infra red so it’s not reflected in window at night, I still see good at night although not as good without infra red on.. The best way to use this is have it outside but if you have nowhere to put it outside this is fine..

We use these to keep tabs on our apartments we rent in different cities. They work well and everything is pulled into one app. Excellent devices. One caviat. For some reason it seem like you have to set them up 2x in order to get them to work correctly. Not sure why. But once they are up and connected they work just fine.

Great camera to have it. Though it is meant for outdoors and indoors, I prefer to place my stickup cam in my patio room. Great quality videos, sound is clear and don't have to worry about energy since it is the wired version. There are no motion lights, but that's okay because its night vision is amazing.

I love my ring camera. I can check on my dog and my mother wherever I am! I would buy more and would recommend them to anyone!

Cameras allow to see movements and even hear the sounds in areas of property. Nice to know what lurks at night, didn't know had so many different animals roaming around city at night.

It was easy to install and connect to our existing Wifi and monitoring app. Really enjoy the video quality and the wide angle of the camera. Note that if you have multiple cameras you need buy the 1 year, 100$ subscription to be able to record the content.

Having a Ring doorbell, I figured it would make sense to add a security camera that’s also a ring. Mainly to minimize the number of apps I needed on my phone. If you already have a Ring device, then you plug it into the outlet of your choice, open your app, add another device, wait for the blue pairing light to blink, and then follow the instructions to add it to your existing app network. You can view the camera’s field of view anytime with the app. The night vision is really clear. If you want to go wireless, you can add the battery (sold separately). I wish you could turn your camera even a little from the app. Have it swivel around like the security cameras at banks. Lol. It is made for the outdoor as well as indoor conditions so you essentially set it where you want. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty easy install. Could have provided longer screws for mounting. Set up on the app was easy. Imagine quality is excellent during the day and good at night. My only real complaint is some mounting will require you to install the camera hanging up side down and rotating the cameras feed on the app is not an option.

Where would I be without my Ring cam? This camera is rock solid and acts as my gatekeeper to my property. Good night vision and excellent daylight vision. Easy to setup, maintains connectivity, and "never" needs charging!

Indoor camera coverage of kitchen and den , as well as 2 exterior entrances into the home. Clarity of detailed view is great, easy to distinguish who’s who day or night !

This camera is awesome. Very sensitive to movement. I had to tone down the settings because it would pick up everything from rain to moths and alert at all times of the night. Videos are clear in all types of weather and the speaker and microphone is incredible.

Ring cameras are relatively easy to set up and definitely provides a sense of security. My only issue with this particular camera (99.99) is that if you mount on the ceiling, the video is upside down. There is no way to flip it. The $ 59.99 camera (indoor only) can be mounted on the ceiling and has a setting to flip it right side up. I checked with Ring customer service to be sure....

Daytime image quality is a very good color picture. Night image is black and white. I have it looking through a window to avoid outdoor wiring, though a battery is available too. It took me two tries to initialize the camera. First time it ran the firmware update then no picture was generated. I reset the camera and tried again. This time the camera worked after the firmware update. The instructions are step by step for individual tasks, but it is hard to gain an overall understanding of the camera and app operation. I have not been able to trigger the motion detector with the camera looking through the window onto the porch. I have settled for manually selecting live view when I want to take a look. It takes some trial and error to work with this device and the app.

Love it! Battery life is super and lasts a very long time.
