Q: Can the camera be mounted upside down and have video come out in the proper direction?
A: just purchased and installed this camera in an upside down position for a clean install under the front eve of the house. I have gone through the app several times and do not see the ability to invert the image. Any help would be appreciated. Hate to need to purchase a special bracket if not needed.
Q: Does this run on batteries or is hardwired?
A: No, it doesn't run on batteries.
A: It will still detect motion, BUT.... At night, you will need to turn off the infrared light because it will only reflect off the glass.
Q: How long is the power cord?
A: About 20 feet
A: Yes you can. Spliced all 4 of my stick up cams to install through stucco, without making a huge hole .
Q: How far does it work away from the internet router?
A: There’s no definitive answer to this. There are many factors such as where you’re router is located in reference to the camera and if there are obstructions in the way such as numerous walls. However you should be good for at least 30 plus feet. If unsure, take a device that uses WiFi to the location where you will be placing the camera. If the device is getting a decent WiFi signal then you should be fine.
Q: this states indoor/outdoor use ? is this WATERPROOF? WEATHERPROOF?
A: Yes....waterproof and weatherproof. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 for performance. Doesn't always alert when there is movement.
Q: Does it comes with some screws for the wall mount or we only have to stick it up to the wall?
A: It actually only comes with a mounting bracket and screws to stick on the wall. I know “stick up” cam is confusing. I assumed it was some sort of double sided tape.
