Bought this plug-in camera to place next to my condensing heating boiler which has a display screen. (Six-zone hot water heat.) Gets bitterly cold here. Now can open the Ring app and observe the display from anywhere. Note that changes in displayed data (running/standby/startup/shutdown) do not trigger the camera. Display in pic is white--if it's yellow, something is going to fail. If it's red, the system has failed and shut down. That's what I wanted to be able to see. Much more relaxed when at work on a frigid day. Nice addition to Ring devices.

Just what I wanted. I bought the wired Stick Up Indoor/Outdoor camera because I didn’t want to deal with changing the battery. I have it looking out of a window. Hardly any reflection, sometimes a little from the blue light. But it’s great. You do need additional lighting at night because the camera will not pick up anything without it. I bought a plastic soap-dish with suction cups to put the camera on it and “Command” damage-free Velcro for extra hold on the window frame. I’m very pleased with my crazy invention.

Took me a little longer to install but it was easygoing. No problem getting them to load to app. Great images. Night vision works very well. Will purchase more in the future. Great when your out and about you will get notice and see & talk to who is at your door.

So far it works great. I’m using it outside to watch my pool. It is mounted to a brick wall, and all is good, so far. The cord that comes with it is 20’ too long, but to someone else it might be 20’ to short. I wish it came in black, or at least the cord in black. It might not be so noticeable against a brick wall. The photo was taken from the camera @ 10:00 at night. It is very dark around the pool. The 2nd picture is with lights on. Pretty good picture!

I have purchased this item based on the reviews. I like this item because it is wireless. So I can install it anywhere I want to. And I also purchased solar panel so that I don’t need to change battery. This one also has a good quality image at night and has no problem even under the raining. I like it so far
