Accidentally left this review for the wired only indoor stick up cam. Please ignore the other review. ⬇️
Pros: clear images even with IR night mode
Cons: unless I’ve got it twisted, but it seems you have to do a new set up if you’re doing it wired or with a battery. That made little to no sense to me. I was also hoping the battery would remain charged while the unit is plugged in but that seems to also not be the case. I also didn’t like that I have to set up the motion areas each time I’m turning the camera back on.

I recently bought 2 of these to supplement the 2 floodlight cams and doorbell camera system that I already have. They’re great!
While they don’t have the full software features as the floods, the Alerts, resolution and night vision are amazing. In fact a friend of mine decided to buy Ring after seeing my system and the quality.
Easy to set up as well!
Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the Ring stick up camera-wired. These cameras are great. This is the second camera I purchased for my house. I really enjoy the products from Ring. Good picture quality. Power cord was long for enough for where I needed to install camera.

When you need a sense of security, this camera will do the job. It had easy to follow instructions on how to set up. It performed great when I accessed while I was away from home. I plan to purchase more cameras to allow me to see around my home while away. I had previously purchased the Ring Door Bell camera and it has worked great.

Great camera, I use it in window looking outside, there’s a feature to turn off the infra red so it’s not reflected in window at night, I still see good at night although not as good without infra red on.. The best way to use this is have it outside but if you have nowhere to put it outside this is fine..

We have a number of wireless floodlight cams around the property. This is our first outdoor wired stickup cam. Install was as easy as with all other ring products we have. Image quality is excellent. Router connection is solid. No issues. Highly recommended.

I have many Ring cameras & they are great. Ring has great support & the annual fee is reasonable unlike Nest. I am converting all of my Nest cameras to Ring. The resolution is good & there are many customization thst you can make in the app. For so e cameras, I place them in a window facing the street or backyard. I prefer to mount but indont always have an outlet in the needed location. Some cameras have night vision, which is great in a window.

Great camera to have it. Though it is meant for outdoors and indoors, I prefer to place my stickup cam in my patio room. Great quality videos, sound is clear and don't have to worry about energy since it is the wired version. There are no motion lights, but that's okay because its night vision is amazing.

I actually thought I was buying another previously owned Ring cam so I could install in the garage (so I could sign up for Amazon Key). This camera is bigger than what I expected (not complaining). Easy to set up and crystal clear 1080p video.

Having a Ring doorbell, I figured it would make sense to add a security camera that’s also a ring. Mainly to minimize the number of apps I needed on my phone.
If you already have a Ring device, then you plug it into the outlet of your choice, open your app, add another device, wait for the blue pairing light to blink, and then follow the instructions to add it to your existing app network.
You can view the camera’s field of view anytime with the app. The night vision is really clear.
If you want to go wireless, you can add the battery (sold separately).
I wish you could turn your camera even a little from the app. Have it swivel around like the security cameras at banks. Lol.
It is made for the outdoor as well as indoor conditions so you essentially set it where you want.
Would definitely recommend.

Pretty easy install. Could have provided longer screws for mounting. Set up on the app was easy. Imagine quality is excellent during the day and good at night. My only real complaint is some mounting will require you to install the camera hanging up side down and rotating the cameras feed on the app is not an option.

Does not alert unnecessarily for cats/dogs

Due to 3 separate instances of someone opening the gates in our yard, we decided to add the Ring Floodlight cam and a stick-up cam to cover our 2 gates and the entrance to the garage. Installation was not too difficult. Be careful of the direction of the unit because we installed it upsides down the first time. (not as obvious as you would think). So far is it working well. I was worried it would alert every time dogs/cats and squirrels cross their paths, but fortunately, it does happen very often.
The only reason for taking off a star is because we now have 3 ring products, including a Ring doorbell, and the "Chime" in the house cannot be set to different tones to let you know which of the 3 Ring items has alerted. You are forced to run for your phone to check it on the app.
This should be an easy thing to program. I also find the app to be overly complicated and not intuitive to find certain settings.

It was a very easy process, from opening the package to video & audio on an iPhone 11 in 20 minutes. It is wall mounted in a corner about 8 feet up and 10 feet from the area we want to watch. Also has a very clear picture and the audio is very good.
