Daytime image quality is a very good color picture. Night image is black and white. I have it looking through a window to avoid outdoor wiring, though a battery is available too. It took me two tries to initialize the camera. First time it ran the firmware update then no picture was generated. I reset the camera and tried again. This time the camera worked after the firmware update. The instructions are step by step for individual tasks, but it is hard to gain an overall understanding of the camera and app operation. I have not been able to trigger the motion detector with the camera looking through the window onto the porch. I have settled for manually selecting live view when I want to take a look. It takes some trial and error to work with this device and the app.

It was very easy to set up and use. I have other Ring devices and appreciate the ease of having multiple cameras on the same account and app. Provides high quality videos and snapshots with lots of customizing options.

Great camera for checking in on the dog when I leave him at home. Plus option to save the videos is great and motion detection is nice.

Ring cameras are the best inexpensive security system today. Clear instructions. Good images. Easy to set-up.

I have this camera mounted upside down on my carport. You can change the direction within the app. Quality is great even at night without having a light on the camera. You can set the app to record from all cameras once one is tripped. Great system. Would recommend.

This is a great addition to our outdoor Ring security system. The setup was very easy. The video quality is great.

Works very well, the 1080p HD has a great quality video. The only con i have is that the battery life last just a few days . The settings have to be regulated to manage alot more than the the gen 2 model.

I love the product period I really love the fact that this product is always clear and crisp when I'm looking for certain things such as people going in and out the house. This product is reliable and it can withstand five -5 degrees Fahrenheit.

The camera is exactly what I needed. We were going out of town and I needed something for our back porch. We didn't have time to charge a battery making this camera the perfect camera because you can plug it into an outlet.

Worked great. Quality of videos were great. Extremely sensitive. I had to adjust sensitivity settings.

I started with the Ring Peephole doorbell, worked amazingly well so we decided to purchase 3 additional cameras to cover our entire home. Easy to install and set up was simple. Great quality video that records only when it senses motion or when you choose to "live view". During live view you can also zoom in for better view, but not during prerecorded video. Camera also has a speaker that you can talk thru and listen from. I have had the cameras for over a month and have no complaints, except that charging the removable battery takes several hours to charge, leaving the camera inoperable during that time. Easy fix is to purchase the charger with 2 additional batteries which seems like a great price.

Camara work very nice great picture quality love the motion sensor and quick recording. Has night vision and color vision for night great features and customization. I would recommend this to anyone wanting Camara for there home.

Easy to setup. We have it covering our patio and pool area. Only complaint is when talking via the camera the sound output is pretty low. In the middle of the night with now light on you can still see everything.

I love my new ring! I set it up in my backyard and get to enjoy seeing the deer in my backyard from midnight until 5a while I'm sleeping and they are walking around. I watch them in the morning It was so easy to set up, I did it myself.

These monitors are excellent for indoor and light outdoor use. Durable, good video, and easy to set up.
