Now I have two cameras at the back of my house instead of one floodlight. I have a Ring doorbell and a floodlight/camera at the front of my house. I liked those so much I decided to add these two ring cameras also. They take very good video.

With the Cloud that Ring offers you can record videos for when you’re away or need to save for safety reasons. Really liked so far.

Nice even on a sill

We didnt even bother attaching it outside, we just put it on a window sill and it works fine, even through the screen. One thing to note that isnt real clear is that it is called wireless, but it does need to be plugged in an a/c outlet to power it.

For $100 a year you can subscribe all of your cameras to the Ring cloud. The 1080p is crystal clear. Voice quality is great. Super easy to set up. These provide a great piece of mind home and away from our home. The ring app is also easy to use and connects with our cameras very quickly. I also like the size of the cameras and the option to hang if I want to. I do wish they had the option to pan though. I snagged two of these when they were on sale and scored some free echo dots. I’m happy!

Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI. For optimal performance, most Ring devices function best when upload and download speeds are around 2 Mbps or greater per device.

Great quality camera but....

Very good price. It is a good piece of mind having this. The only problem I have with this camera is that I can not watch the live view on the camera because it says the battery is critically low even though the version of this camera is a plug in so it has constant power. We have contacted ring about this and they are working to fix this issue. For now, we use the “Rapid Ring” app and we can watch the live view on that app
