It's a great piece of mind for surveillance- especially when packages get dropped off at my doorstep. The pre-roll option takes a bit to load but it's solid. The Pre-roll portion is black/white. The battery life seems on par with expectations. Overall, great product.

Great Addition

We both get alerts and the microphone works very well. I can sit at my desk at work 35 minutes away and talk and the person can clearly hear me. The picture/video is also so clear.

Purchased this after much research. I hardwired it because I didn’t want to be changing batteries. Once I found the proper doorbell transformer it works pretty good. It does seem to glitch once in a while to the point that I have to remove the battery to reset the device.

A surprise hit!

I installed the ring camera on my door which was flanked by a glass infused screen door. To my surprise, even though the camera had to function through glass, the picture looks surprisingly amazing. It looks to of 1080 quality. I could see the people coming to my door very week and hear them too. Love it!!

Has protected my house for over a year

I have yet to change the battery. I get alerts nearly every day when delivery people come by, or when my neighbors walk by. It has a bit of a delay, but other than that it is very security friendly
