I think it is great for people that live by themselves. I don't have a window that I can see my front door. This is an excellent tool for safety. I just need a little more help learning everything that I should be able to do.

The Ring has been a wonderful addition to the apartment as we're completing he final stages of packing and moving and will be an even better addition to our new house. The Ring system has given us piece of mind that we will know what is going on at the house/apartment even when we aren't home!

I have only had the Ring Doorbell installed for a few days and I have not completed the online programming, but the device shows great promise as a useful household security adjunct. I like the camera surveillance feature, and intend to purchase the online storage and report service.

Battery life is not as long lasting. have to continually charge

Live my Ring Doorbell 3. I can see what is happening outside with my Ring Doorbell 3 on my Echo Show 5. I know when I have deliveries and visitors. Easy to program. Very easy to charge and change battery. Gives me a sense of security as I live in the county.

The doorbell worked great...when it worked. When it was first installed, it worked fine. After the first couple days, it magically stopped working on and off. The app would show that the WiFi signal strength is very low - which made no sense. We would stand outside with our phones or even a laptop and signal strength was very good when standing next to it and going all the way down our driveway to the mailbox. We also live in a 2 story home with excellent signal strength throughout the house, garage, backyard, etc without needing a WiFi extender. We ended up buying the chime pro to act as a “Signal Booster” and it started working fine again. For such an expensive product, it shouldn’t be necessary to buy a secondary product to get it working.

Love being able to see (on computer or phone) and answer verbally the door without actually opening the door. Works well as advertised, and you can adjust the area that you want the camera to cover.

We love the comfort of being able to answer the door with the voice activated feature and seeing who is outside with the camera in the door bell without having to unlock and open the door. Gives us peace of mind and increases our safety awareness.

this is a replacement of our ring doorbell 2 that was in use several years. we have had no issues with to doorbell 2 yet chose to replace it with the upgraded doorbell 3. our old doorbell was passed on to a friend who had no video doorbell and is still working just fine. ring is a great product and would recommend ring.

This device has been great. Though there are sometimes latencies in uploading live views of the doorbell, it has generally captured everything I needed it capture like package or grocery deliveries by people for some reason decide not to press the doorbell.
