This is my second Ring Video Doorbell. That said, I love the product. This one upgraded me to 1080P video and Pre Roll technology. I truly don't know how anyone that has packages delivered to their home can live without this!

Love this device works great! Worth the money. Connects to the Alexa with ease, my mom 78 years old is able to view her front door while she is still in her bedroom without going to the door, great little security.

There is a pretty significant (approx 20 seconds) before the video is available when someone walks up to the door and the video being available. Ideally, the video should be live or a second or two delayed at most.

Love this product. I had a previous version but this one has the pre roll which records prior to 'actual' activity. Great investment to protect your personal property. Gives a little more piece of mind

I hardwired the 3 Plus model and with the battery installed my battery unit has only needed to be once since installation after almost 7 weeks of operation. This was a very good improvement from the first Ring version.

Advantages vs. Ring 2: motion area is more accurate; I no longer get every truck that drives up & down the street Disadvantages: more expensive than Ring 2 and no chime included For my money and the distraction of trucks setting it off, I would have stuck with the Ring 2.

My previous ring did not catch all of the video. The new software allows you to catch all of the motion even though the first two or three seconds are in black and white. Package recognition and people only settings add to the value

I own two homes and needed something to watch both when I'm away. I'm certainly glad I purchased this product. My research proved correct. This was the best product for the $$

the best item i got good for work and great for outdoors i cant ask for nothing better best buy rocks and i will keep going back for more stuff too buy and the customer service is always there too help me at all times

We love being able to see our dog out front without having to keep the door open - we have an electric fence so he can roam the yard. It is also awesome to be able to answer the door even when we are not at home

so far so good. I'm able to see who is at the front door. Even when I'm not home. I get a notification that someone is at the door. Some people don't hit the door bell and stand there. This doorbell picks that up. Love it

The doorbell three plus is a nice upgrade over the doorbell two I had. I love the pre roll function as well as being able to connect to the 5ghz network. Make sure to get the plus and not just the regular three.

i own the first edition of the ring doorbell. i do not see a difference. i think this edition is over priced. if you can find the first edition at a third of the price then you should buy that one.

Doorbell itself works well. Wireless connection to my router was easy. Installing the doorbell itself is a bit challenging if your house is brick. Ring App installed on my iPhone is fairly intuitive to use

I really like all of the ring products I have tried. I like being able to see and talk to who is at my door whether I am home or away. I really like the added feature of the preview you get with this model.

This is not going to be the most useful review as I bought it for a gift. Got it during Black Friday for a good price bundled with an echo show device, I believe. For that deal I would say it is good. Buying this alone anywhere close to retail price than I would say it is extremely expensive for a doorbell. I would imagine it would be more useful if you have theft issues or if you are someone is is not quick to get the doorbell, or want who/how/where your packages are being delivered at your door when you're away. But other than that, I would say the average consumer wouldn't "need" a doorbell like this; this is more of a "want". For those who want to convert their home into a "smart home".

WE HAD BEEN RESEARCHING SECURITY DEVICES FOR A WHILE. AFTER SEEING ONE INSTALLED BY A FRIEND AT HIS HOUSE AND COMPARING DIFFERENT MODELS, WE CHOSE THE RING 3 PLUS. VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND LOAD APP TO OUR PHONES...

If you are reading this to decide if you want a Ring door bell. Stop reading and purchase. Super easy setup. And the display is great. A upgrade from the Ring doorbell 2.

Ring makes excellent products. And this door camera is no exception. The only issue I had was with the install. Did not work with existing door chime (21 years old), so I had to purchase a new one. Other than that, it works like a charm

Really like it. Still learning things about it. What we weren't told was that there is a charge for keeping the videos stored. Wasn't that much and we ended up paying it. Otherwise, we like it.
