Mine wouldn’t give me any audio the first time I used it because I started out with the battery at 70%

Pay the extra money so you can hardwire instead of taking it on and off! Also see what caused the motion.

Quick note though, fully charge battery before installing. We hardwired ours and havent had an issue since. Other than that no issues works great!

While batteries in Ring devices can go months between recharges with normal use, this is dependent on a number of factors in your home's environment such as the local weather and the number of activities captured. The more events captured by your Ring Doorbell, the more your battery is used to power the live HD video stream to your device. Even if you do not answer the call, video is still sent from your Ring product to the Ring servers. In addition, the battery is also drained each time you use the live view to look or speak through your camera. As most of our Ring Doorbells are powered by lithium-ion batteries, it's important to note that at temperatures below 40 °F, the battery is less effective at holding a charge and may require more frequent recharges. There was one day where the servers were down and the doorbell was not functioning as expected, but was fixed the next day.

Make sure to change the sensitivity and motion detection settings otherwise you will get a ton of notifications. The only downside is having to pay for the service fee to look at recordings

Works great when its up but occasionally I'm unable to access remotely. Does get a little crazy as Alexa announces whenever someone goes in or out the door.

Works quite alright. Make sure you have a good connectivity to Wifi, otherwise you will not get optimal performance.

I get alerts when there is motion at the door and I can set how far it will detect motion so I dont constantly get alerts from traffic going by.

It will stop alerting of activities at the door at anytime. Constantly have to reset the device to connect.
