    The charger in this item didn't work. Itried to work with Ring directly but they didn't follow through on a timely manner. The battery lasted less than a week.....i Eben bought a new battery in case it was a bad battery..... nope.

      We definitely understand how imperative it is that your Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus battery last an extended period of time. While the battery can go months between charges, this is dependent on a number of factors, including the amount of events your device detects.

      If your device is located in a high traffic area, try out our new Customizable Motion Zones to eliminate motion detection in areas you do not want monitored. Customizable Motion Zones will allow you to draw different shapes that are more dynamic than Adjustable Motion Zones. You can add up to three different Motion Zones. The following steps will walk you through setting up a Customizable Motion Zone on your device:

      - Tap the three lines on the top left of the screen
      - Tap Devices.
      - Select the battery device that you want to adjust
      - Once you’re on the screen with the image of your device, tap Motion Settings
      - Then tap Motion Zones
      - Tap Customize Motion Zones and then Continue
      - Use the slider to adjust motion sensitivity from minimum to maximum sensitivity

      Once you’ve drawn your Motion Zones and adjusted the motion sensitivity slider, the changes will take effect the next time the device detects motion. To apply your changes immediately, walk in front of your camera to create a motion event.

    The fact that it doesn't continuous record is very poor. Even it was a cost up option, i would pay for it. Also, it doesn't record anything at all if the wifi goes out. huge security concern there.

    I'm VERY disappointed in the performance of this thing. Honestly, I am tech aware, been in the industry for 30 years. This thing is garbage. I don't understand why people rave over this. Live view is a joke. I get streaming errors 70% of the time which means I can't see what's happening WHEN ITS IMPORTANT. I have google fiber and nothing on my network but my laptop, which has very little I/O. I even disconnect it from my network to test the Live View performance. Nothing and no one else is on my network. terrible terrible product, especially for the price and the sacrifice of giving up your data privacy.

    A great product but not compatible with my old doorbell system and I had to return it. The cost of fixing the door bell converter outweighed the benefits of RING. That aside this model was too wide for my door frame.

    I had Ring 3 Pro less than a month and alerts to mobile stopped. Read other reviews, alot people say the alerts worked fine then stopped. This was not cheap, I’ll be contacting Ring before warranty goes out. Must be flaw somewhere.

    The device has a nice appearance however half the time it does not work. I have many smart devices in my home connected to my Wi-Fi without any problems but this device sometimes connects and works and other times it cannot connect. I have made an appointment with the Geek Squad to come out to my house to find out what the problem is.

    Still not set up. Would only have negative things to say about how much it cost to have installed and not have it set up before worker left. Not to mention I ended up here all weekend waiting on the worker who finally showed up on Sunday afternoon. I could of been at the lake with my family. Everything right from the start, being forced to spend my bonus money and than not even get geek squad to install which is what I understood I was paying your for. Thank you for your good business ethics. Am unable to judge product until it is actually working.

    I’ve only had this device for 2 or 3 days and its 2 way audio already stopped functioning... upon research, this is a common issue with Ring Pro’s. I’m reading online that you have to reboot the ring every couple weeks to fix the issue... looks like I’m switching to the nest!

    Had to replace after a month the sound stop working called ring to try and fix it and was on the phone for 3 hours still couldn’t fix it so they sent me a new one

      The Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus is designed to connect you to 1080p HD video in a timely manner. We know that every second counts when connecting to live video, as this ensures you can see and speak with your visitors from multiple devices. If you are experiencing delays in connecting to video, we will want to look at the connection between your wifi router and the Ring device. The signal strength to your router is a key point for the connectivity of your Ring Doorbell 3 Plus. There are three main factors that can weaken your wifi strength:

      1. Physical obstructions
      2. Competing wifi networks
      3. Other electronics

      You can check your signal strength within the Ring app in the Device Health tile. The RSSI stands for Received Signal Strength Indicator. The RSSI measurement is all the factors that are hurting your signal at the receiving point. While RSSI is measured on a scale of 0 to -99, there won't ever just be one cause that is the culprit for a low RSSI rating. To get the most from your Ring Doorbell 3 Plus, aim for a signal of between -40 (near perfect) and -70. Please visit the link below, as it has some great tips for improving your RSSI rating.
