It’s a good camera. Works well with alexa. The video is decent enough to see but I wish the delay is none existent but I understand that it process a bit. Overall I am satisfied still. If that ring doorbell is facing the sun a lot, expect that covering to get damage soon. My first one lasted for 2 years until the film on the front melted a bit resulting to a blurry camera lens. There is a film or some kind of coat to make the view more clearer.

Buying this was defiantly worth the money! I live in a pretty interesting apartment that used to be a hotel. They still have workers come in and fixing the building and what not. because we had the Ring Camera, Me and hubby caught a guy that was just heading to the door and backed off when he saw the camera! so saved our items!!! and its cute when you get the fun little colors for the device.

It does what it says it does. The pre-roll video seems helpful. It picks up movement quite a distance away. I get notifications about cars driving by on my street (you can turn off certain areas to avoid this). The camera angle does not provide the widest view of my front porch but that's due to the spot where my doorbell mount is located. Installation was straightforward to do. I hardwired it to my doorbell wiring and bought a separate mounting device that did not require me to drill holes in my house.

Nice quality picture. Simple to set and use. Battery life exceeded my expectations.

So I was skeptical of the need for a Ring as I have had cameras set up for some time, but in an era where porch thieves have sadly become all too common and more food is being ordered from Doordash and Ubereats, I felt it was time to give it a try. Thus far it has been great, and an incredibly useful way to check on anyone that randomly stops in front of my house and lingers while I am at work.

Easy to install and clear picture as well as recordings and easy to adjust to your own preferences

We have this working alongside an Echo Show 8. My only gripe is that it takes maybe 5 to 10 seconds for the video to start showing on the Echo or on your phone after someone rings the doorbell or when you ask Alexa to show the front door. But it does a great job of recording any movement near the front door for watching back later.

Love it, and especially the pre-roll, as people come around the corner and don't expect to be recorded. Instead of shims to angle the camera, on the next model it'd me nice to angle the camera lens. Easy phone set up. A+++ Still, no complains.

I replaced my current doorbell with the ring doorbell because my neighborhood had had a problem with people wandering around at night. The doorbell works great. I hardwired the doorbell so I would not need to worry about recharging the battery. When the doorbell is hardwired you get the option of using the standard boring dingdong or you can get the ChimePro to add different tones.

Excellent video doorbell. Picture is great and has a great view of the street.
