I bought this on sale and it came with the Amazon Echo Show. What a great match. lol Installed the camera outside. Super easy setup as long as you have a drill to go through concrete (if necessary). Followed the install instructions and the install kit brings everything you need for install include a level and the drill bit. Once setup, it synced perfect with my doorbell chime using the previous doorbell's wires. App is great. Ive had a few days with lag or the system not working which is a bit scary but in my 6-ish months of having the system, the system has only been down twice that I recall for a couple of hours. The only downside is that after the trial period, you need to pay $3/month to see your videos after they are recorded which you will want to do if you are using the camera for more than just a video doorbell. For example, if you only have the system to see who is at your front door when they ring the doorbell, then you dont need the extra service because you can always see live video on the app or Echo Show. However if you want to be able to see all recorded content after the fact, then that's when you will have to subscribe for $3. If I'm away, I want to make sure all content is recorded as I use this as a security camera in addition to the doorbell.

I feel much more secure with this easy to install device. Now when the dog barks, i can see if its another animal or a person

The Ring Video Doorbell proved to be exactly as advertised. Since i purchased the Doorbell for my condo that was not set up to be hard wired, It has been several weeks since I installed the battery operated unit and I have had no issues with performance, battery life or video quality to date. A quality product! The only drawback is the doorbell requires a wifi internal connection needed to hear the doorbell ring. I have not been able to purchase one since they are apparently out of stock. They are also a very expensive and necessary add-on.

This item was purchased after incidents occurred in my neighborhood that made me feel I needed to know what was happening at my front door when I’m not home. Very easy to set up and use. Once I installed the app on my phone it was up and running in a matter of minutes. Works well, images are clear, battery last a long time and easily replaced. I am very happy with the Ring’s performance and the added sense of security it provides my family.

Love these ring cameras, so easy to connect to my phone and stay on top of our home security when we are traveling. Quality is great and sensor works amazing.

Good for outdoor surveillance and keep you more safe no need to see whos infront ringing the bell

Works extremely well. At first I was a little intimidated by the idea of installing this product, but it was very straightforward. If you follow the included instruction packet and then the app instructions it is a fairly simple product to install and use. I feel better by being able to see who is at the door since our door has no peep hole.l

Easy to use and set up. Charging is quick & easy. Recommend this for sure.

Overall nice camera. Sometimes it does f pick up things it should. For example my car getting stolen but we maybe should’ve had the headlight cam for that

I LIKE THE FACT YOU CAN SLIDE THE BATTERY OUT OF THE DOORBELL INSTEAD OF UNMOUNTING THE WHOLE DOORBELL TO CHARGE IT.

I purchased this for the home I share with my folks so they and myself could keep an eye on things I love it. It’s clear and does a great, almost TOO good job of picking up motion. My only gripes with it is sometimes it doesn’t pick up every event close but will pick up almost every car even w the sensitivity turned down. I dont want to turn off the zone because the door is perpendicular to the street so my Ring faces the neighbor’s and I definitely want to pick up the street as much as possible. The other gripe is the video will just black out while recording so i will get the person (say UPS guy) coming to drop something off, he will be putting the package down then the video blacks out or freezes and the next part it shows is the driver back in the truck. It just makes me nervous that something important in the future will be missed. Other than that, i wish i could make it connect to live view faster but it’s really great for a first foray into security cameras.

Happy to finally have a doorbell. Now I have the ultimate wth a camera. Everything is going well so far.

This is a "must have" for home security- clear images, numerous options.

I luv this doorbell camera always knows who’s ringing my bell. And its a clear video with night vision as well

I like it.I didnt know I had to buy A ring package that would cost extra monthly for it to work.I was not told when I bought it.I did end up buying the package.I do like having the security of the video that I get and being able to save the ones I want to.
