These include: Dual band wifi that work on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, 1080p HD video with night vision, Two-way talk with noise cancellation and Privacy zones. Thank you, Ring Team
Q: How you suppose to hear doorbell in house without chime.
A: Through the Ring app
Q: Do you have to hav an existing Doorbell for this to operate?
A: Hi Dan, Great question! No, you do not have to have an existing Doorbell for this to operate as the new Ring Video Doorbell 3 can be battery operated or hardwired. All the best, Ring Team
Q: How long does the battery last.
A: Well I don't know where YOU live but in Massachusetts east coast USA where it gets really cold in the winter and hot in the summer but I don't have to charge this EVERY week nor every 2 weeks as this ring person said! In the winter I charge it once a month or 2 depending on how cold it gets and in the summer I charge once every 2 months or so. I hope this helps, I love my Ring Doorbell and am very happy that I got it! Dave in Mass.USA
A: Yes, you can. And that is very smart.
Q: How wide is the viewing field for the doorbell? Is it 180* or 90* ?
A: The view is large, but not quite 180.. I’d say about 160
Q: We do not have a covered porch. Is this item weatherproof?
A: Yes I do not have a cover over neither of my porch’s and I have a ring door bell and a ring spot light camera it’s rains a lot where I live and I have not had a bit of trouble out of them nor with external heat
Q: Can I charge the battery while it is in the doorbell (with a cable & extension cord of course)?
A: No, because the charging port is used by the doorbell. Once the battery is in place the port is no longer visible or available.
