Not sure if it's my wifi but seems to respond faster with alerts than previous version.

The '3' has more features than the '2' we had. Very happy with it and with the sales personnel at Best Buy.

We have it installed with the bronze face cover and it fits perfect with our home esthetic. The app is very user friendly and we have it paired with Amazon Echo 8. Great product!

Instead of trying to reset the 3 , I opted to return it and get a 3 plus. The extra $20 is well worth it. The pre-roll video is a must. If you are considered a 3, get the PLUS. Don’t know why Ring didn’t just make one 3 and include the pre-roll.

The device is very sensitive and picks up all types of movement which can drain the battery quickly. You may need to adjust the coverage type and area to address this issue. Other than this, I have no complaints.

The Ring Video Doorbell 3 is the next generation of Ring Video Doorbells. In addition to new video features such as Near Zone functionality, and the Pre-Roll feature, the Video Doorbell 3 boasts dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wifi connectivity, improved energy efficiency, better screw strength and advanced motion detection. After reading your review it seems that your Ring Video Doorbell 3 is having trouble staying connected to your home wifi. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest working devices in your house, for optimal performance you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:
Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).
If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.
Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
Wait for your internet to be restored.

Love front door notifications

Not too happy that it does not pick up when a car drives up in my driveway. But still happy with it overall.

I upgraded from the first series that was a few years old. The original series had an issue with live view not connecting. The series 3 has no issue!

I just wish I could manually change where the distance was. It is either to far out or to far in. So I have to have it far out and it picks up all the cars going by. Others wise love it.
