Time for a refresh and this unit does the trick

The new cam provide a few features I was mising on the old unit, quick battery change, HD crisp video, much better nighttime vision, and the ability to tilt the bell toward the street. Easy install, feel safer.

Solid Product

Setting it up was easy, though I could not get it to work with the wires of the previous doorbell to provide power to it. That means taking out the battery to charge it from time to time which isn't too big of an issue (usually done every 1 1/2 months). Quality of the video is good, including the night vision. Can see out onto the street fairly well, and the motion sensors have a lot of customization so that you don't get notifications of birds flying around every few minutes. 8/10

Love Ring Doorbells

Someone came to our door today for something, and we were away from the house but able to tell him he was at the wrong house and that he was probably looking for the house up the road. (Street number is the same and names are only different by dr vs ln so it happens a lot). We’ve been real happy with the video quality and how easy it was to setup.
