Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased the Ring doorbell because the lady that helped me at the store said that it connects to my Google Home app and integrates with my Google Eco-system......Well it does not. Not only does it not connect to Google Home eco system it is very glitchy and I have 2GB Fiber Internet & Wifi. I will receive notification that someone is at my door like an entire minute after they leave! What is the point if your going to notify me after the motion has come and gone? It does not even capture the deliveries most of the time, for example when I get a delivery I will get a notification that there is someone at my door so I look at the footage of the drop off and all I see is the item on my doorstep but no delivery person walking up to my door and setting it down and leaving....No just the box magically shows up and thats it. So if someone decided to steal it I don't think it would capture if they moved fast enough. Either way not impressed at all, I am in process of returning and replacing with Gooogle Nest Doorbell. I hope it is better.

The Ring Video Doorbell 3 is the next generation of Ring Video Doorbells. In addition to new video features such as Near Zone functionality, and the Pre-Roll feature, the Video Doorbell 3 boasts dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wifi connectivity, improved energy efficiency, better screw strength and advanced motion detection. Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with your Ring Video Doorbell 3 picking up the correct motion. If you are having trouble with your device picking up the correct motion. We recommend adjusting your motion settings and zones. Motion Zones allow you to define a specific area that you want your Ring device to cover while ignoring everything outside that area. By selecting Motion Zones to cover only the areas you want the Ring device to monitor, you can effectively monitor the area you want as well as reduce the number of "false positive" motion alerts.
