    Only thing is. Is doesn’t worn with google and doesn’t work on a side wall but other then that satisfied with it

    We replaced our old Ring Doorbell with the Doorbell 3. We have it hardwired just like our last one. For some reason, it will not ring indoor to let us know someone is at the door. We have done trouble shooting, have the battery charged in it (last one didn't come with a battery), and can't find the problem. I'm not happy at all with the Newest version of Ring Doorbell, and do not recommend it. Purchase and older version if you are in the market for one.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble using your internal chime with the Ring Video Doorbell 3.

      The Ring Video Doorbell 3 is compatible with AC-powered door chimes operating between 8 and 24 volt AC transformers, but is not compatible with wireless door chimes or any chime/intercom system using a DC transformer. If your internal chime is no longer working, we recommend checking your wiring to ensure everything is correct.     Router or extender needs to be within 6 feet for this thing to ever have a decent signal. Its down and not communicating with the app more than it is up. Nevwr works when I need it to. So unless your router is 6 feet or less from where this device is mounted, I'd save your money. Battery life isn't great even when hardwired, I caj only imagine how bad it would be if it wasnt hardwired. There are better options, I wouldnt buy this again and honestly I don't think i'll buy anymore Ring products.

      As Ring users ourselves, we understand how important it is to have a reliable internet connection to your Ring devices. The Ring Video Doorbell 3 is intended to remain connected to your home wifi in a secure and stable manner. You should be able to launch your Live View, receive Ring notifications and communicate with your visitors, all with excellent battery life.

      Although Wifi is useful, it does have limits. If you ever have problems with Live View, a poor device connection, or are missing notifications, keep the below factors in mind.

      Wifi signals are weakened by obstructions. Walls, floors, furniture, and appliances all block wifi signals. To improve performance, try the following suggestions:

      - If your wifi router is inside a cabinet, closet, or hidden by furniture, move it out into the open, at least six inches from any wall.

      - Move your wifi router to a room that is closer to your Ring products, if possible. Add a Ring Chime Pro or a mesh networking system to extend your wifi network.

    It was doing an upgrade every time someone rang the doorbell. It never worked like it was ment to work.

      It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. If your Ring Doorbell 3 starts updating every time the button is pressed, the firmware update may not have completed successfully and could be attempting to restart each time. Please check that your doorbell is connected to a stable wifi network. If your wifi signal strength is good, we recommend holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then release to factory reset the device.
