The issue I have with the ring doorbell: I live in an apartment and we are not supposed to damage the property (you need to drill holes). I couldn’t drill any holes in the door, and the ring doorbell was too big to be screwed into the wood panels. Thus, I didn’t have any place to install my ring doorbell. I looked at other models and I still had concerns… such as the ring doorbell that you can stick to your door—I have a fear of it falling and breaking; or worst, someone ripping it off and running away with it. If the ring doorbell was smaller and came with more wireless options, I think it will be great. Otherwise, I don’t know… I didn’t get to use it.

With all that is going on with thefts in the neighborhood I decided to give it a try. It was easy to install, set up and use. Great picture!

I have owned each of the last 3 generations of the ring video doorbell and each one is better than the last. The best part about the video doorbell 3 was it's dual band ability. If you know about WiFi you know 2.4 ghz gets really crowded. To be able to put this on 5 ghz. I get motion and ring alerts quicker. It is able to show live view and respond in less time. All things that help quickly keep an eye on where ever you placed it. If you have the original ring or video doorbell 2 I suggest you upgrade

The installation was quick and easy and the video quality is really good. Easy to sync to the app in my phone and also to our Echo 5.

Very good picture quality. Easy to set up and install. The only bad thing I have found is no matter how we adjust the settings and zones it still picks up cars driving by our house. Tons of false alarms.

OnE of the best video doorbells. This is a newer model and it has been upgraded, much less false alarms. Need a video doorbell get this one.

I installed this yesterday and immediately noticed big improvements from my old Ring gen-1. The video resolution was much clearer and the motion detection is more accurate which means you capture almost all activity. Also, the video playbacks don't freeze up anymore which I love. That happened so often with my old Ring. So glad I upgraded after 3 years!

I enjoy being able feel more secure. Easy to link / install multiple cameras & view my entire home.

The ring doorbell makes it easy to see who is at door, able to talk to them and see if a delivery has been made. Easy to hook up and use. Don't like an additional fee is charged to be able to see video.

This camera is great. It allows me and my siblings to see what’s going on in my mothers house when she is at home. It was easy to mount.

The only complaint I have is that the battery doesn’t seem to last long. Make sure you order extra batteries. Other than that, the quality is great
