It's good!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had older version of ring doorbell which was 720p after few years it started detecting every movement even though the sensitivity was very low not sure what happened. But we got excuse to update with new. Loving the quality of camera and image feed. Plus the preroll is added feature which is a plus. Would recommend this to everyone!

Great HD definition

The quality was very good compared to my old one. My doorbell is broken so I had to always pull the ring 1 out and of the wall and charge the battery overnight. Ring 3 comes with a detachable battery that I can replace with a replacement battery that I bought. I still have to unscrew Ring 3 from the wall but it's better than charging overnight.

My remote guard.

Nice to be able to see who's at your front/rear door from any place on the world. You can even prevent the thieves from trying to break-in by scaring them off. Once you got the notice showing some strangers wondering around your front door on your phone app, check who that is and pretend like you are inside by saying like "Hey how can I help you? That would scare them off.

Ring 3 Doorbell

My first unit was not hard wired and it had a rechargeable battery but it wasn't removable. I went with this style because of the ease of being able to recharge the battery without having to remove the whole unit. I'm glad I went with this style. An added bonus is you get to pick from 2 different colors as both covers come with the unit.
