Good Ring doorbell

Not sure if one is actually better then the other one, model wise. Trying to decide which to buy was more effort than installing it. Added Ring chime pro, and an extra battery to cycle as they're rechargeable. Mines hard wired so it does charge, but I believe in having a back up. Even rings my phone. Kinda cool..

Easy installation, lots of coverage. It has prerecorded messages you can choose for when someone rings your doorbell. It is funny to watch their expressions when it tslks to them.

I like the fact that I can set the area for setting off the video and alert. At first, every car that went by would set it off. With a little adjusting, we brought it back to just motion from the sidewalk.

My brother in law spent hours and was on the phone with a ring representative for quite awhile. It’s working now and it’s a great idea
