It’s a great doorbell. I really enjoy having it. 

Nice upgrade from the Gen 1, video is much better and set up was very easy.

Super doorbell & camera. The phone/tablet app walks through the set up and this on works with an inside doorbell, either "ding dong" or electronic that plays tunes. That's a big plus. The only minus is a fee after a trial period to save the pictures. The Ring app has a lot of features and sharing. Love it.

Honestly when I purchased this I had some apprehension. But surprisingly it works pretty well. It allows to view guests that come to my door from the comfort of my phone whether I'm at home or work. It took awhile to install it outside, not to mention it was freezing, but it was worth the long setup

Easy to set up with a mounting bracket bought online. I added Ring solar panel to keep it charged all the time. Price was great for Black Friday, included Amazon Echo Show 5 for free. I wish the night video was in color, it’s B&W. I wish there was pre roll recording, sometimes it misses the action or records too late. Otherwise great purchase and great price!

Works perfectly and integrates with my Alexa Show. I feel much better being able to keep an eye on my house. You never realize how much activity goes on when you're not home!

We never thought that we would be using something like this at our home but we are very glad that we purchased this item. We can now see who is at our door even when we are not at home and the really neat thing is that it records a video for us to use at a later date if it it necessary.

My friends have been telling me about the ring. So i went to best buy to look at them. I purchased this for my home. The ring has great detail. It gives great survelliance around the house. I would recommend the ring for everyone. It works great for me and my family. Thanks best buy

Pretty bulky & ugly but provides quality video with the app

This Ring Doorbell was exactly what I needed. It chimes your phone when someone is in front of property and lets you know when someone is standing at your front door. The picture quality on your phone is excellent, vibrant colors and you can zoom in and out of focus. I love my Ring Doorbell.

High level of security gives peace of mind via the fact that everyone who walks up to your door knows they are on a camera. Have to admit it's fun to scare the bajesus out of people using the microphone/speaker... It's pretty loud lol.

Thia was easy to install and Ring customer service was outstanding. I was connected to my router and operational quickly. After 30 days you need to pay for Ring to continue providing online recording services. I was several states away and still received notifications.

We’ve had issues with packages getting taken in our neighborhood (who hasn’t?) so we got this doorbell camera. Installation took about 10 minutes, set up even less. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the motion detection zones are a little wonky and took several tries to tweak so that it would pick up people approaching the door, but not buzz my phone every time a car drove by on the street.

A great addition to add the comfort of protection. I can hear things clearly around my apartment long before the person arrives. The picture quality is great. I especially like the app that allows you to connect with other ring owners in a group chat to alert of action in the neighborhood

The trick to a positive experience with this doorbell is wifi coverage. Remember your doorbell is outside and your wifi has to travel through drywall, wood, insulation, siding to get to and from the doorbell. Having your wifi access point on the other side of your house may not work well. I rearranged a little and got great coverage for the doorbell and its worked perfectly since day one. They keep adding nice features like more details in the notifications - when UPS drops a box on my porch, the notification I get includes a photo from the doorbell. It works great with the Ring security system and Echo Show (Alexa, show me the front door. Alexa answer the door!)

Clear video and I love the different faceplates to match my home. A bit pricey but it’s worth it
