Loved you can replace battery, while leaving the unit screwed in. Only issue is you will have to purchase a chimer to hear the alerts when away from your phone.

You get your choice of two front plates. More options to stop false motion alerts. Great product. Buy it when its on sale for under $150

It sounds like you are concerned with the need for the Ring Home Plan subscription. The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

The only thing I get annoyed with is that my app goes off all the time. I do like that it gives you alerts as to what is going on around your neighborhood.

My old version one was a breeze. This one took an hour with tech support to get up and running due to the app. Support was super though and finally got things running. Works well with echo show.

Will be installed tomorrow by Geek squad. Hope all will be better. Will ymupdate this review after it is installed.

The store associate set the appointment up well. We purchased the Geek Squad and I’m glad we did. They communicated well on the timing of the appointment and made themselves available for questions and concerns afterwards. My only complaint is that the Video Doorbell does not come fully charged and the gentleman from Geek Squad did not tell us that at first, nor show us how to do it. However, when we called about it, he was helpful in describing how to and made himself available to assist, if needed.
