Wotks great but had to modify

Once we did that, the camera view was great. Nice clear picture and we love the speaker/mic feature.

They don't last long and you will be charging it every other week. Doesn't work that well with Amazon Echo devices although they say they do. Using your cell or other app to answer the door is problematic. Customer service is available but they don't follow up when you have a problem. KEY NOTE: If you want to record your doorbell video history, you have to pay a monthly charge for it. Otherwise, you will ONLY see LIVE video when motion is detected or someone rings your doorbell. After that, the video is gone.

A potential cause of battery drain is having a poor wifi signal. The battery drains as the doorbell repeatedly attempts to connect to your wifi network. This could also explain the issues when answering the door.

A little disappointed with the activity settings

I was disappointed because it does not pick up everything. It showed a delivery man pull up to the curb, but did not show him coming to the door. My previous ring showed all activities. I had the settings set correctly, but it still does not show all activities. I tried to reset everything again but it is the same. Maybe it's user error, I don't know what else to do. Just anl fyi. Not sure if I would recommend it at this time.

The pro to this is I am able to see what is going on around my home whether I am home or not. I get notifications when vehicles are passing by my home or someone pulls in the driveway. I am able to talk to them through the Ring when I am at home or not. This is good since we currently are in a pandemic with the Covid 19. I can also see live video around my property at anytime. The con to this is you will need to have a subscription after the 30 day trial to continue to receive notifications and have your videos saved. If not, the only thing that can be done is to just see live videos.
