Love these Ring cameras.

I don't use them as doorbells, I use them a cameras. I velcro the camera to the entry door..behind the glass storm door. I also use one inside the house as a security camera. The APP is great and flawless. I also purchased an extra battery that I rotate between the three as their batteries start to run low. I change them at about 30%. The time it takes to deplete the batter depends on the traffic it sees. These are worth the purchase.

Once in awhile it doesn't let us know someone came on the porch, but I think I just need to reprogram it. Just haven't taken the time yet, hopefully soon. Will update more if we have a problem. Bought this one for our son for Christmas. He hasn't installed it yet. PS, I would definitely recommend the $30 plan to record the activity.

Makes Your Home A Little More Secure.

Installation is a little tricky. I hardwired it to my original bell wires so the battery will be constantly charging. The negative about the device is that there is a little delay in the image. But I believe that has do with the wifi in my home. One other negative was that I installed it on siding which is an uneven surface. Ring doesn't supply mounting hardware for this. I had to go to a third party and pay extra for what I needed.
