This is the best home security starter camera you could get. Love getting the instant notifications anytime someone is near my front door. I know instantly when a package arrives. Battery seems to last a while between charges depending on how frequent the motion sensor goes off.

Love this doorbell, easy to install and operate, My wife has the app and she is able to see everything going on, we are thinking of getting the flood light.

This camera works great! The picture is clear as well as the speaker. It's not overly sensitive so I'm not bothered by too many unnecessary alerts.

This is a great product for those who are not prepared to fully invest in a comprehensive camera security system quite yet. Not only can you view and speak with whoever is at the door before opening it, but it offers a motion detector and video coverage that can be viewed on the cloud for only $3/month.

I was having a new front door installed and decided to get a new doorbell too. I knew I wanted a smart doorbell and Ring had the best reviews and seems to have the most features. I also liked that I could select between a few different finishes. The doorbell works great and is nothing special but what sold me are the features and integration. Ring is compatible with Samsung SmartThings (which I also use at home) and there is a chime you can get to pair with the Ring doorbell. The chime is good for hearing the doorbell in another area of the house. The subscription is a must. Don't skip out on it. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

When it works, it is a nice unit, but as an IT professional, I not only own 2 of these, I've installed numerous ones. There seems to be issues with connectivity in many cases. Some of these units have issues with staying connected, Even with Static IP addresses, etc. they sometimes just don't keep their connection. Often, the setup process has to be done numerous times before connecting, even when within feet of the router. I've had to replace one in my own home and now the replacement unit is becoming finicky. I can't speak for the newer units, but you're rolling the dice on this model. I must say that one of the units I have, I've had no issues with, so when they work, they are great.

This device works very well to let us know when any activities taking place on our front porch, lets us see what is going on and view tapes of what has happened. Also notifies us when there is activity and allows us to check and talk through the device no matter where we are.

We installed the Ring doorbell and we are so glad we did!! It sends me notifications when there is movement outside. It has a great picture at night!! I love being able to check outside any time I want too. Now I don't worry about anyone taking my yard ornaments or packages!!

If you are not looking to break your bank, this video doorbell does what it needs. Has a great video quality and will detect who is at the door before the bell is rung. Also, the motion settings will detect when people or cars walking by so you know if there is any suspicious activity. And it has a great social media networking where you would be alert of fires, crimes, or lost puppies nearby your neighborhood so it acts like virtual neighborhood watch. The battery life is amazing if you don't need lot of settings to be turned on.

The motion sensing goes from hyper sensitive to non existent. As far as a door bell camera it works fine — usually. Sometimes the doorbells doesn’t ring my phone, which is annoying. For the price paid ($99) it’s fine. Wouldn’t pay any more though.

I bought this since I had some rewards points and it's a bit pricey. What I like about it is it can be hoked up to original doorbell system or go completely wireless (you do have to take out the Ring to charge once battery runs low). I like how you can set different motion settings. But once trial is over, you won't be able to control the settings without buying the subscription. I returned for two reasons: 1) Main reason, recording doesn't begin until a few seconds after it detects motion. I bought the Maximus and had it hooked up at the same time. Maximus goes back 5-10 seconds when it detects motion so you won't miss anything. I will leave a review on that. 2) Fish eye camera, it's not your typical screen when you view a live-view or go back to view recordings in widescreen. it's round, never got used to it. I wouldn't recommended it because it's to expensive and it misses a lot of important recordings. Especially if you have to pay after the 30 days and you'll loose the options so it basically becomes a monitor if you don't subscribe the monthly service.

The Ring works great and a few times too good because the sensitivity sometimes still gives me false notices. Easy to install. Instructions are well written.

This product provides great security, I am notified anytime someone is at my door and can speak with them as well. It was very easy to install and setup through the app.

This is nice idea, but the functionality could be better. This camera records events based on movement detected, but it usually misses important events. Most of the time it starts recording way too late. Other times it stops recording too early. I like being able to see when packages are delivered, and checking my entrance during the day when I’m out. The bsttery life is not very good, so we have to remember charging the ring about once a week.

I love that it alerts me when some one is walking to my door. They don't even have to push the button to alert me. It makes it easier to tell door sales men and people trying to push their religion on me to leave my property. I don't have to open the door for them anymore.

had to buy an extender for my router to get it to work outside through the walls. Once it works it's great. Now I know when anybody comes and goes from the front door.

First saw this when a friend had it, the best part is that there is no subscription and ties into your device no matter where you are. You can speak to visitors and not even be home, as soon as the doorbell rings, you are notified that someone is there. Really cool stuff.

Talk about feeling SAFE! This is the best feeling of safety! Subscription as low as $30 year or Plus for $100/year! Easy to install, easy to use on a smartphone! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! Covers a LARGE area or just long hallway and your entry way! Spend your money on safety this way! My goodness, as a single person, feel so great about this purchase, I cannot share it enough! I live in an apartment complex that requires a key to get in; but non-residents still get in by the droves, I am so grateful for this product!
