Very easy to set up, great battery life, solid video quality (with night vision), and Ring customer service is legit. Highly recommend this for any home!

Good ability to configure what alerts, but so far haven't been able to change the light input. The camera is on my front porch under a roof so it tried to let in more light and it washes the display out past 20-25 feet away.

I purchased the ring video doorbell for added security. The quality of HD video is Impeccable, And detects motion instantly, however I was not able to hardwire it to my existing doorbell (location wasn’t ideal) and the battery depleted within a week or so. Not sure whether other newer models may Have addressed this concern. Overall a solid purchase.

Bought this to replace a door bell. Installed easily, wireless is somewhat unstable, video choppy with poor signal strength. No hardwire internet connection. App still has some bugs, still satisfied. Unhappy with the charge for cloud service.

Good product and very quick and responsive with notifications however the app is much more refined with NEST than it is with RIng. so if you are looking for a camera instead of a doorbell/camera combo nest is a better option

Love that it can be connected to the existing doorbell wiring so that it still rings the Winchester chimes. It's great to be able to answer the doorbell without opening the door and to be able to respond when we are away from home. We did have to turn off the motion detection features, though. We had it set to 6 feet, but it would go off every time a white or silver vehicle drove past the house. But the intercom capability is what we were really looking for, and that works great.

Easy install, only issue in the beginning was trying to get the motion settings right so every car that drove by didn't trigger it but so far everything's great!

This gives us so much peace of mind while we are away from home. We can see who comes to the door at any time. My husband doesn't even need to get off of the couch to tell the solicitors "no." It's fantastic, and know I want every product Ring makes.

Own a small business that requires me to leave at a moments notice to visit a client or deliver a product. Even though my shop is by appointment only I was missing out on sales that simply went away. I added a ring door bell to my office door and no longer miss out on customers who simply show up. They press the door bell and I get an immediate notice on my smart phone. I can talk with them direct and make the sale. Highly recommend. It has paid for itself many times over.

Camera is good, motion sensor is good, however the battery does not last as long as they claim. But for $200 it's worth the peace of mind.

My dad told me to get one of these. Frankly, any house should have one of these devices. I’m fact, I’d say all new houses should come with them. So long as you have WiFi, it’ll work perfectly. I have a wired in version so it charges by itself. For those of you that do not have a wired version, you will need to remove it each time and charge it each time it gets low. Install was maybe 10 minutes. We had to master reset the ring before it actually connected to the devices.

I'm so glad I bought this. It provides added safety & security. Only issue is even when turned down, the motion sensor still picks up most cars driving by.

Quality of video is good but the battery life on these units is not what they advertised, hook it up to power source and its good to go!

After reading many reviews of similar products, I decided to go with what people consider the standard in this arena. It works great. Right now I get tons of notifications about activity by my front door, but it's just a matter of me changing the sensitivity settings. At least I know it works! I like the particular style of this color as it goes nicely with our navy blue door and brass handles. It took me a little while to figure out the hard-wired connection, but the instructions were clear. Highly recommended!

Use this at the front door to our corporate offices and the app rings on a group of people's cell phones when someone comes to the door. Great solution even though this seems to be more of a residential product. Easy installation as well !

The Ring Doorbell is a great security feature for any home. It has motion sensing even before someone rings the doorbell. Day and night vision is clear. I would give it 5 stars, but there is a slight delay in the notification to my iPhone.

I bought the Ring pro initially when I moved into my house and regret it. I ended up returning it because it never powered on. Unlike the other Ring doorbells, this one you have to attach to your chime. I have 2 chimes and we tried attaching it to both and it never ended up working. Ring support was quite irritating to work with too. I ended up returning it and getting the Ring 2 and love it. Was super easy to snap in and install, didn’t have to deal with the chime install. Highly recommend saving money and going for Ring 1 or 2 models and not the Pro!

I have mixed feelings about this device. Maybe because we are too close to the street every car that drives by sets off the motion sensor. If we turn down the sensitivity then I get people after they’ve left my porch. I’ve also noticed since we got this now more people or knocking instead of ringing doorbell. Video and pictures are great. I like that I can talk to people at the door.

Very easy install, great sale price. works well. a little glitchy sometimes. had to play with the sensitivity. All in all a good value

Took some adjusting to get the motion sensing to not be overly sensitive but overall a great security addition to my home!
